A mobile blood transfusion station operated on the territory of the Chistopol Central District Hospital. Specialists of the Republican Blood Center carried out blood collection from donors living in the city.
Currently, modern medicine uses innovative technologies and new-generation drugs. However, the state of healthcare is determined by the availability of necessary blood reserves in its institutions. The only way to replace or replenish this supply is to receive from donors.
Transfusions of blood components and products are necessary for complex medical and surgical procedures and play a vital role in protecting mothers and children's health. Donor blood helps to support the life of patients with hemophilia, anemia, and is also necessary for cancer patients.
Note that the mobile blood transfusion station uses modern equipment, and the blood donation procedure is entirely safe for donors. All conditions exist for quick and high-quality tests, blood sampling. All information is immediately entered into the general donor database. Twelve specialists of the Republican Blood Center and five medical staff of the Chistopol CRH worked on the action. Anyone could contribute to this good cause.
The event was organized and received good feedback from both specialists of the blood service and our residents. Professional, prompt work was noted, even in the field conditions of the mobile station.
"The organization is wonderful, the service is good, the staff is kind and attentive. I would like mobile blood transfusion stations to come more often," the donors shared their impressions.
Employees of the local district hospital actively supported this action.
