On November 17, the world celebrates the International Day of Premature Babies. It is called "White Petals Day", emphasizing the special fragility and vulnerability of such babies who were in such a hurry to see the world that they were born prematurely. Every year on the planet, about 15 million babies are born prematurely, in other words, this is every tenth baby. In Naberezhnye Chelny, almost 8 percent of births are premature. The survival rate of premature babies increases every year, and new successes are being achieved in the fight against disability.
