On December 4 and December 5, the #МЫВМЕСТЕ online marathon timed to the International Volunteer Day was hosted, where the award ceremony for the best volunteer initiatives was held. 210 projects selected from 53,219 applications in 14 categories reached the final of the "Volunteer of Russia — 2020" competition.
The volunteer project "Immunity+" of Kazan State Medical University under the leadership of Latfullina Raina took the 3rd place in the category "Protect with Heart", which presented projects in the field of healthcare designed to improve the quality of medical care, as well as in the areas of medical support for mass events, sanitary and preventive work and donation.
The winners of this category were awarded by Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Russian Federation Oleg Salagai and Chairman of the All-Russian public movement "Medical Volunteers" Pavel Savchuk.
Latfullina Raina shared with us her emotions and thoughts after the long-awaited awarding of the project: "My team and I feel joy and happiness that we were able to enter the top three projects in the category "Protect with Heart". We are extremely happy that our work was highly appreciated. I want to express my gratitude to the Kazan State Medical University, Tomsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Movement "Medical Volunteers", Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Tatarstan and Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for the support of the project since its inception and the team for productive work.
