Issues on the assistance to cancer patients were discussed in the Nizhnekamsk Central District Multifunctional Hospital
Chief physician of the Nizhnekamsk Central District Multifunctional Hospital Mars Mustafin met with the head of the non-profit charitable organization "Bez Berge" (We are Together) Elena Musayeva. During the meeting, the chief physician gave answers to all the questions of recovering patients.
Also, together with the organization's leader, the tasks for 2021 were defined. At the beginning of the meeting, Elena Musayeva immediately noted that this is not the easiest period for cancer patients and for the organization as a whole. The pandemic dictates its own rules, but thanks to the mutual support of doctors and patients, we have the situation secure. The chief physician noted that assistance to the patients with cancer during the resurgence of coronavirus infection is a priority.
During the meeting, Elena Musayeva voiced a number of issues that are vital for cancer patients in Nizhnekamsk. One of them is the issue of providing medicines. Mars Mustafin assured that applications for 2021 will be made in full, the medicines will be in sufficient quantity.
There was also a question about palliative care for patients. Next year, the palliative care team of the Nizhnekamsk Cenral District Multifunctional Hospital will continue its work.
Elena Musayeva expressed her wish to continue the work in this direction after the quarantine. The leader of the organization also asked about the possibility of placing videos on the social issues on information screens in the Nizhnekamsk Cenral District Multifunctional Hospital polyclinics in order to support cancer patients.
Chief physician Mars Mustafin wished all members of the organization "Bez Berge" (We are Together) good health and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
