The organization of medical care in the Geriatrics profile was evaluated in Rybno-Slobodsk district
The Office for the National Medical Research Center's functional implementation for the Geriatrics profile held an on-site event in the Rybno-Slobodsk district. It was a part of the audit of the Federal Scientific Medical Research Center for Geriatrics and the Federal Coordination Center for the activities of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
The managing heads of the profile got acquainted with the development of this type of care and visited the Geriatrics department of Rybnaya Sloboda Central Regional Hospital and familiarized themselves with the local Health and Social Protection departments' joint work. This pilot project aims to provide systematic long-term assistance to the elderly.
The delegation included: Svetlana P. Svishcheva, Deputy Head of the Federal Center for Coordination of Activities of Russian Regions in the Development of Organization of Medical Care in Geriatrics, Julia I. Abdreeva, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Resida A. Shagvalieva, Head of Medical Care Department of the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Health Care.
After visiting the Central Regional Hospital outpatient clinic, Svetlana Svishcheva held a meeting with the heads of private medical organizations via videoconferencing. The meeting topic was "On implementation of the pilot project in RT on involvement of private medical organizations in rendering medical and social services to people aged 65 and older".
