At the Powder factory, they told how they strengthen and protect the health of workers
At the Powder plant, a meeting was held with the Tatarstan Ministry of Health and the "Heart of Gold" charity organization. The meeting summed up the implementation of the strengthening employees' health program. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"The meeting was opened by the General Director of the plant Alexander Livshits. The head of the Health improvement department, Elena Khafizova mentioned the importance of implementation of the Federal "Strengthening Public Health" project on the territory of the pilot region and presented the results of the plant employees screening conducted by the National Center of Preventive Medicine Ministry of Health of Tatarstan," reported the Agency.
The president of the "Golden Heart" charity organization, the expert of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on the implementation of corporate programs to promote the employees’ health, Zukhra Ziganshina presented the results of the annual work in four areas: audit and formation of healthy eating habits, physical activity, stress and rejection of bad habits.
So, smoking workers were identified at the plant. With those who dream of quitting, the individual work of helping to get rid of a bad habit was performed. Also, thanks to the audit, it was found out that many employees do not wash their hands before eating and do not eat correctly. Work with these problems will continue next year.
"We spend almost all our lives at work. And if we don't create a healthy environment at work, we won't create one at home. Therefore, employers have a great responsibility for their employees and their safety during the working day. To relieve this responsibility, the Ministry of Health initiated the creation of corporate health promotion programs within the framework of the Federal project," Zukhra Ziganshina said in an interview with the correspondent of IA Tatar-inform.
The head of the labor protection service, Tatyana Mikhailova, spoke about the Powder plant's work in the conditions of the of Covid-19 spread. When the pandemic reached the Tatarstan Republic, they had to make arrangements for the prevention of infection urgently. Zukhra Ziganshina noted that next year they plan to start improving employees' health at another 40 enterprises of the Republic in the same way as at the Powder plant.
