In 2020, 17 young specialists joined the Children's City Hospital with a Perinatal Center. The story of one of the young specialists is presented here.

An orthopedic traumatologist Topchubek Makambayev has been working at the Children's City Hospital of Nizhnekamsk since June 2020.

"I come from Kyrgyzstan.  I graduated from the Kyrgyz Medical Academy and completed my residency on a budgetary basis, and it was time to choose a job. They asked me where I wanted to go. I said that it didn't matter where but I had to work as a traumatologist. I was sent to a small town where I got a job in the emergency room and saw surgical and trauma patients there. At the same time, I worked for an urgent care ambulance and saw pediatric patients as well. A month later, they added another load in the infectious diseases department. The workload was very heavy, and I didn't have a chance to get into the operating room.  But I really wanted to.

I had to look for other options. My friends who work in Naberezhnye Chelny recommended me to come to Tatarstan. I collected the documents for Roszdravnadzor, and they sent me to Chelyabinsk to pass the exam. I passed it and received a Russian certificate. They said that now I could go to work in any city in Russia. I remember sitting with a huge form with vacancies, and I wrote out a whole list for myself, from Moscow to Vladivostok. They offered to go to Sakhalin, promised good conditions and accommodations.  But I decided to come here. They helped me with registration and all the other documents and immediately gave me a service apartment. On June 1, I already went to work in the Children's City Hospital. I accept trauma patients and operate. Everything is as I dreamed of.

Thank you to the team, which welcomed me very warmly. It was very important because I had never been to another country before, but here I felt at home. It has been almost a year ago since I came here, and I don't regret coming here."
