Today, the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital held a meeting of the Medical Council, which summed up the results of 2020 and set goals for 2021.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sadykov and heads of departments and medical organizations and representatives of the Veterans Council.
The chief physician of the clinic, Airat Ziatdinov, presented a report on the work done over the past year, noting that in 2020, the activities of the CRCH were aimed at implementing the strategic tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Minister of Health of the Republic.
Separately, Airat Ilgizarovich noted that in 2020, despite the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection, the clinic actively continues to implement programs and projects to strengthen the material and technical base: the construction of the Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Surgery Center, the construction of a Tomotherapy Center, major repairs of the treatment building #3 on Safiullin street, 14, major repairs of the passages between treatment buildings #1 and #2, organization of a new parking lot for patients.
In 2020, more than 2 thousand children received high-tech medical care, and in total, over the past year, the clinic's specialists treated more than 31 thousand children. The active modernization of the medical equipment of the hospital and children's polyclinics continues.
The chief physician also noted the work of the Republican Resuscitation and Consultation Center, whose employees conducted 5.5 thousand consultations by phone, of which about 42% are consultations of newborns, 519 teleconsultations, performed 1,285 visits of resuscitation teams, 82% of them to newborns. 922 patients were transported to a higher level of medical care, and 90% of them are newborns.
"In connection with the successful use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation devices in the treatment of critical lesions of the cardiopulmonary complex in 15 children, the Center for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care with Extracorporeal Life Support for Children was opened last year, where all methods of extracorporeal life support are used," said the chief doctor of the clinic.
It should be noted that before the beginning of the main part of the meeting, a memorial ceremony was held in honor of the deceased head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, the chief consultant children's specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation Zakirov Igor Ildusovich. Colleagues and guests observed a minute of silence.
The Minister of Health and the guests highly appreciated the work done during the year, thanked the staff of the clinic, and noted a number of priority tasks for 2020. At the end of the meeting, a ceremony of awarding letters and certificates of acknowledgement was held.
