Today is The World Smoking Cessation Day
On May 31, an international campaign against smoking is being held around the world – The World No Tobacco Day, a day free of tobacco smoke.
By tradition, the team of the Nizhnekamsk CRMH also held its own campaign called "Smoking is not fashionable". Patients of polyclinic #2 were urged to breathe freely today. The campaign was joined by the teams of the prevention department and the Health Center. Third-year students of the Nizhnekamsk Medical College also took part in the action.
Doctors and nurses took photos with the hashtag "Smoking is not fashionable", and also distributed leaflets to patients with useful information about how easy and fast it is possible to quit smoking. Doctors reminded that the harm can be caused not only by smoking tobacco, but also by the use of electronic cigarettes, and also told how the rejection of this harmful habit has a positive effect on health.
