The Republican Specialized Children's Home is a special institution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, intended for the maintenance, education, provision of medical, pedagogical and social assistance to orphaned children. The children's home also provides aid for children with perinatal HIV contact and HIV-infected children. The facility has a 15-bed palliative care unit. Medical rehabilitation for children with neuropsychiatric diseases is being widely developed.
The children's home is equipped with all the necessary medical equipment, specialists are trained annually and actively apply new methods in practice. The institution has a well-developed material and technical base.
The close-knit team of the Children's Home shaped over the years, and it is the key to quality work and confidence that the children are in safe hands.
As of June 1, 2021, there are 158 primary children, including orphans, and 118 children who are undergoing rehabilitation treatment in the 4 buildings of the Republican Specialized Children's Home.
