The specialist reminded about three ways of infection – sexual, through blood and from mother to child.

Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 8424 times during the week. 1062 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 889 times, including road traffic accidents.  53 people were injured, 29 people were taken to hospitals. 6629 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (68 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (179 cases).

Training was organized for General practitioners, neurologists, therapists, and rehabilitation physicians of Almetyevsky, Aznakaevsky, Bavlinsky, Bugulminsky, Leninogorsky, Cheremshansky and Urussky Regional Hospitals, as well as Medical Station of OAO "Tatneft" and Almetyevsk.

Epidemiologist of SAHI "Chistopolsky Central Regional Hospital" held a meeting with students of Chistopolsky Multidisciplinary College and Chistopolsky Medical School". The ways of the spread of infection and ways of prevention were named, as well as the indicators of the epidemiological situation on the incidence of HIV infection in the town and the district.

The profession of geriatrician is becoming more and more popular today because of the increase in life expectancy in the Republic and the increase in the retirement age. Geriatrician is a medical expert who provides assistance to patients of advanced age. There are two geriatricians in Nizhnekamsk Central Regional Multi-profile Hospital today.

Father Christmas from Veliky Ustyug visited CRCH yesterday. The holiday was held in the neurosurgery unit. Fairy-tale characters and Father Christmas came to children with gifts. The holiday was held with the support and participation of the President of the Foundation "Life line" Faina Zakharova and General producer of NTV Timur Weinstein, who made a welcoming speech and good wishes to the children.

SAHI “Municipal Students’ Polyclinic №21” held the campaign "To know is to live!" with the support of the regional public organization "Prevention and initiative of Tatarstan Republic". The staff of the clinic visited the UNIVERSITIES of Kazan with video lectures within two weeks. Everybody could pass express tests. Students of KSRTU (Kazan Scientific Research Technological University), Kazan State Institute of Culture, Kazan Federal University and residents of the Universiade Village took part in the campaign.
