Traumatologists-orthopedists of RCH performed the arthroplasty of the block surface of femur with the mini-prosthesis Recartic for the first time in Russia

Orthopaedic traumatologists of orthopaedics department № 2 of Republican Clinical Hospital of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic performed surgery to reconstruct the damaged cartilaginous block surface of the femur with mini-prosthesis Recartic in cooperation with the company Implantcast (Germany).

This operation on the block surface of femur was performed in our country for the first time and is the preferred treatment option for patients in the early stages of arthrosis with focal degenerative-dystrophic changes of the joint.
