Road accident has happened in Zelenodolsky district near the village Kugeevo. 2 persons have perished as a result of collision of two cars.

Today Assistant to TR President on social problems Leyla Fazleeva, TR Health Minister Adel Vafin, Head of healthcare, sports and healthy life style department of TR Cabinet Council Guzel Shakirova, the principal of Executive Committee of Kazan Denis Kalinkin, the chief of Healthcare Department of Kazan Ilnur Khalfiev have visited Kazan Municipal Polyclinic №18 which became a pilot platform for the project «Friendly polyclinic».

In Naberezhnye Chelny specialists of Healthcare Control Department and Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare have told about the epidemiological situation on ARVI and flu. Specialists of «Emergency Station» have realized monthly rate on emergency calls from January, 1st till January, 8th. 32 emergency teams have serviced 7621 calls.

Flu is a serious virus infection which registers in autumn-winter season. A susceptibility to flu is universal. The most widespread way of infection’s transmission is airborne: at tussis, sneezing, talk.  

Road accident has happened today in Agryzsky district, nearby village Tirsi. 5 persons have suffered as a result of car and minibus collision. Two persons have deceased before arrival of emergency team. Two victims in moderate severity status have been taken to Emergency Hospital of Naberezhnye Chelny. One victim is referred on outpatient observation in satisfactory status.

Municipal Polyclinic № 18 is a pilot platform. The project «Friendly polyclinic» is implemented in healthcare institutions after the instructions of TR President Rustam Minnikhanov. Predominant purpose of the project is the rising of accessibility of medical care. Its implementation during two years will raise satisfaction of patients by medical care, productivity of staff, will refine accessibility and quality of medical care and will frame comfortable conditions for patients in polyclinic.

874 babies were born in Tatarstan during New Year holidays. Kazan became the leader by number of the babies born in New Year holidays. 379 babies were born in maternity homes of Kazan from December, 31st till January, 8th.

Volunteer organization "We are together" and Fund of support of children organize the holiday for children from foster homes on January, 14th. Children at the age from 13 till 17 years are invited to the holiday.

Vascular Centre for 30 beds will be opened on the basis of Leninogorsky Central Regional Hospital this year. Now there are 17 vascular centers in Tatarstan, 6 of them are in Kazan.

Academician M.I.Perelman VI Russian-European educational workshop on thoracic surgery will take place in Kazan on February, 16-18th. Leading experts from Russia, Europe, Asia and CIS countries will take part in the workshop.
