Charity donor campaign dedicated to National Donor Day took place in Almetyevsk Blood Center. This important day is celebrated in Russia every year on April, 20. Campaign was organized with the participation of volunteer staff "Dobry Almetyevsk" with the support of the Charity Fund "Tatneft" and the portal DonorSearch.org.

Business Forum was held at the Ufa Congress hall "Toratau" within the complex of events on the occasion of the Days of Tatarstan Republic in Bashkortostan. The presentation of the industrial potential of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan was made by the heads of relevant ministries; reports about the tourism opportunities of the two regions have been presented. Representatives of ministries and departments reported on the prospects of cooperation with Bashkortostan.

Several complicated surgeries were performed together with Professor Paul Gavora for the treatment of congenital heart disease in children in the X-ray surgery department of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.

The results of the Russian competition "Manager of the year 2018" were summed up in Moscow on April, 15. The winner in the nomination "Healthcare" was the head physician of Municipal Hospital №2 of Chistopolsky CRH Svetlana Malaguina.

Direct descendants of the founder of the Kazan ophthalmological school, Professor E. V. Adamyuk (1839-1906) – Roland and Barbara Closs from Austria visited Kazan State Medical University. 

Campaign, dedicated to World Hemophilia Day, organized by Almetyevsk Center for Medical Prevention in conjunction with the Healthcare Department of TR Health Ministry and volunteers of the Medical College, was held in a large shopping center. The team of "Landing of health" organized the blood tests for cholesterol and glucose, measurement of arterial pressure. Campaign is held in public places of the city, in institutions or enterprises, in rural settlements every week.

Head physician of Municipal Polyclinic №18 of Kazan Rezeda Mansurova won the nomination "Best worker in the industry" at the XXII Russian competition "Manager of the year". Awards were presented to winners at the Central Scientists’ House of Russian Academy of Sciences in the framework of the II annual forum of experts in the field of management.

Rare surgery on chemodectoma resection (tumors of the carotid glomus) has been successfully performed at the University Hospital of KFU.
