Paramedics of the emergency service of Kazan went to rescue people 7200 times during the week. 1445 emergency calls have been registered to public places. 43 people were injured in road accidents, 25 people were taken to healthcare institutions. 5639 calls were registered about diseases including acute myocardial infarction (52) and acute violations of cerebral circulation (188).

Today, Republican Blood Center held a donor campaign dedicated to World Donor Day. Campaign was organized by TR Health Ministry together with the public organization "Good Kazan". 200 residents, including 149 donors have donated blood. The blood bank has been replenished by 76, 437 liters. Many participants of the campaign were happy to join the campaign.

Inter-district seminar-meeting on improving the provision of cancer care and reducing mortality from cancer in the Volga region of Tatarstan Republic took place in Apastovskaya CRH. Head physicians and their deputies of Central Regional Hospitals, physicians from primary oncologic offices were invited to the meeting.

World Donor Day is celebrated in different countries of the world on June, 14. This day is dedicated to people who donate their blood to save human lives. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the need for regular blood donation to ensure the quality, safety and availability of blood and blood products for patients in need. The slogan of World Donor Day 2018 is "Think about others. Donate blood. Share your life."  

There is no blood deficiency in Tatarstan. This information was presented at press conference in the IA "Tatar-inform" by head physician of Republican Blood Center of TR Health Ministry Ramil Turaev.

  TR Health Ministry has announced a competition for admission to the clinical residency on quotas to Kazan State Medical University, Kazan State Medical Academy, Bashkir State Medical University and Samara State Medical University.

Donor Day will take place in Republican Clinical Hospital on June, 14. Honorary Donors of Russia, who donate blood for many years, will take part in the campaign. Blood transfusion department of Republican Clinical Hospital receives more than 6,000 donors annually. Besides, 16 employees of the institution have the title of Honorary Donor of Russia. These are physicians, nurses, paramedics, laboratory assistants, medical registrars and paramedical personnel.

Competition “creative physicians” took place in Аlmetyevsk on the eve of Medical Worker Day. It was attended by eight young professionals who have joined the ranks of pediatricians of Almetyevsk Children Municipal Hospital with Perinatal Center a year ago. Five pediatricians, a pediatric surgeon, a neurologist and an otolaryngologist moved to Almetyevsk at the invitation of head physician Lidia Ismagilova.

National Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases invites to Open Doors Days. Residents and guests of Kazan will have the opportunity to pass a free anonymous express HIV test, as well as to get advice from specialists and psychologists. National AIDS Center is waiting for everyone from June, 18 to July, 13, 2018 on weekdays from 12.00 to 15.00 at the address: Kazan, Nikolay Ershov str., 65.
