Rector of Kazan State Medical University Alexey Sozinov met with students and their parents yesterday. The meeting was held in the framework of the annual career-guidance event - Festival of medicine "Angels in white coats".

8228 emergency calls were registered in Kazan Emergency Station during the period from 29.01.18 till 04.02.18. 962 calls were registered in public places. The greatest number of calls (6546) was on various diseases, including 205 acute cerebral circulation disorders and 54 heart attacks.

IV Festival of medicine "Angels in white coats" has started today in the republic. It is an ambitious career-oriented event for pupils, University entrants, students of KSMU, residents. There are presentations of the faculties, tours of hospitals, KSMU museums, trainings, contests and psychological testing within the limits of the Festival.

University entrants have met with the work of Central regional hospitals of Tatarstan Republic. Large-scale career guidance event was held in all districts of the Republic in the framework of IV Festival of medicine "Angels in white coats" to attract attention to the noble profession of medical worker.

All central district hospitals, leading healthcare, preventive and social institutions of the Republic have opened the doors in the framework of IV Festival of medicine "Angels in white coats" for Tatarstan students.

Maternity unit of Tetyushsky Central Regional Hospital has been opened after capital repair. The opening ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Republic Health Minister Adel Vafin, Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Head of Tetyushsky municipal district Ramis Safiullov, rector of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Head of the Executive Committee of Tetyushsky municipal district Arkady Semenychev, Head physician of SAHI "Tetyushsky Central Regional Hospital" Rinat Salavatullin and others.

Deputy Health Minister Ildar Fatikhov has visited Chistopolsky Central Regional Hospital. Deputy Minister has inspected the repair works at the children's clinic on the basis of Chistopolsky hospital. He was accompanied by head physician of the hospital Rais Mustafin, head of Executive Committee of Chistopol municipal district Eduard Khasanov and the representative of “Glavinveststroy”Ildar Sharipov.

Press conference dedicated to Oncologic Diseases World Day took place in IA "Tatar-inform" today. The situation about oncologic morbidity in Tatarstan and its prevention was presented by the first Health Minister Deputy Sergey Osipov, head physician of SAHI "Republican Clinical Oncologic Dispensary" Ildar Khairullin, Director of Kazan State Medical Academy, corresponding member of RAS, head of oncology, radiology and palliative medicine sub-faculty of Kazan State Medical Academy, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Rustem Khasanov and Deputy head physician of RCOD, chief freelance specialist in palliative care of TR Health Ministry, PhD Ilsur Shaimardanov.

The opening ceremony of the clinic of SAHI "Hospital for Veterans of Wars" of Naberezhnye Chelny has taken place today. The opening ceremony was attended by TR Health Minister Adel Vafin, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Head of Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Rinat Abdullin and Head of Healthcare Department of Nab. Chelny.

TR Health Minister Adel Vafin has visited Naberezhnye Chelny today. He has inspected five healthcare institutions opened after repair. One of the points in the route was Children's clinic of SAHI "Kamsky Children's Medical Center." The event was attended by the mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Deputy of the State Duma Alfiya Kogogina, Head of Healthcare Department of Naberezhnye Chelny Oleg Sabaev.
