There is a need of physicians in municipal hospitals and polyclinics of Kazan. 152 vacancies have been opened in the capital of Tatarstan. For example, 42 physicians are required in Kazan emergency service. There are six vacancies for General practitioners in the capital of the Republic today.

"Ronald McDonald's house" was opened in Kazan in 2013. It admitted more than 7600 children and parents from all over the country during these years. This is free family hotel which was built for parents whose children are treated for a long time in Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.

Dilyara K. Shvetsova has been appointed to the post of Director of Republican Medical Library Information Center by the order of Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic dated 11.07.2018.

Republican AIDS Center together with Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human well-being in Tatarstan Republic organized the anonymous express HIV testing for the labor collective of OAO "Kazan compressor machine building plant". The experts told about the prevention and threats of infection and answered questions from the audience. Everybody could pass a free anonymous express HIV testing. 43 people learned their HIV status as part of the campaign.

Cardiovascular diseases continue to be the leading cause of death among the population. The risk of vascular and heart disease developing is particularly increased in the summer. Neurologists note that stroke can happen to every person who has problems with the cardiovascular system. It is important to call a doctor after the attack as quickly as possible. The patient may complain of headache, weakness; sign of numbness in the face or one limb, speech impairment, loss of consciousness can be also present.

Opening ceremony of the labour semester of the student's district medical group "Doctor Zay" took place today in Zainsk.

This is the first district medical labor project. It involves participants of medical groups from 9 regions of the Russian Federation. Students will work in Zainsky Central Regional Hospital as medical attendants and practical nurses for 2 months. Commander of student teams of Volga-regional Federal District - Vasily F. Islayev, head of the Executive Committee on Social Affairs - Alexander V. Chapkov, head physician of SAHI "Zainsky CRH" - Rim R. Amerov and Director of the student medical groups - Khrystyna A. Sidorova have greeted the students.

Cooking work-shop "Vegetable smoothies, snacks, vegetable roll" took place for little patients of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital and their parents in Ronald McDonald House.

The organizers of work-shop were:  Department of food and social nutrition of Kazan and Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.

The staff of the Department and the clinic prepared a delicious and healthy lunch together with the children. Nutritionist Natalia Efimova read a lecture about proper nutrition.

Campaign "Men's health week" took place in Novosheshminsky municipal district. Men, working in the enterprises, could get consultation of urologist, listen to the lectures, know the level of blood pressure and do ECG in the framework of this campaign during the week. Men older than 45 years gave blood for PSA test.

The active week began with the speech of head physician of Novosheshminsky CRH Rafis Vafin. He spoke about the health of the male population, their problems and solutions. Torch of "Men's health week" was passed to Cheremshansky district.

Employees of SAHI "Municipal Polyclinic №21 "Students’", SAHI "Republican Center of Medical Prevention" and public youth movement "Academy of health" of KSMU have organized the series of events for students of KSTU (Kazan State Technological University)  in the framework of the campaign "Give me life", dedicated to Family, Love and Fidelity Day. The events took place in health camp "Green pine forest". The theme was: “Abortions prevention”. Students’ Polyclinic organizes the preventive work among students realizing the great importance of this issue.
