The conference will summarize the work and activities of primary oncologic offices of the healthcare institutions of Tatarstan for 10 months of the current year, will discuss the system of providing cancer care to the population of Tatarstan Republic, the provision of palliative and hospice care in Russia and Tatarstan, the development prospects and new opportunities of the palliative care service.

Road accident has happened today in Alekseevsky district on 90 km of road “Kazan – Orenburg”.  4 people have suffered as a result of collision of two cars. 1 victim in serious condition was taken to Alekseevsky Central Regional Hospital. 3 persons in moderate severity state were taken to Chistopolsky Emergency Hospital.

Physicians of interventional radiology of Republican Clinical Oncologic Dispensary are trained in China in Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, Nanjing. Physicians of RCOD get acquainted with the work of the interventional radiology department of the hospital. Every year there are more than 4,000 interventional procedures in all areas.

Specialists from all over Russia will discuss issues of differential diagnosis of movement disorders, vertebroneurologic and neuromuscular diseases, modern principles of rational pharmacotherapy of wide variety of neurological diseases and rehabilitation approaches and technologies.

Head physician of hospital Gulnara Safiullina said that the institution, including outpatient clinics and rural health posts were repaired, the receiving-diagnostic department was opened, 8 new Primary Health Centers were built. The hospital is equipped with modern equipment for patients and medical staff.
