Interregional strategic session of the Honored physicians of the Russian Federation in VRD and URD will take place tomorrow in Kazan State Medical University. It will bring together about 200 leading representatives of the medical community and local health authorities of the Volga and Ural Federal Districts.

Students of Kazan State Medical University visited the municipal polyclinic № 21 of Kazan. Chief physician of polyclinic Airat Ziatdinov and Director Ildar Zakirov had a familiarization tour introduced the laboratory for sampling of biological material, department of radiodiagnosis, department of medical rehabilitation, which includes pool, physical therapy rooms, women's clinic.

Physicians of interventional radiology of Republican Clinical Oncologic Dispensary are trained in China in Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, Nanjing. Physicians of RCOD get acquainted with the work of the interventional radiology department of the hospital. Every year there are more than 4,000 interventional procedures in all areas.

Specialists from all over Russia will discuss issues of differential diagnosis of movement disorders, vertebroneurologic and neuromuscular diseases, modern principles of rational pharmacotherapy of wide variety of neurological diseases and rehabilitation approaches and technologies.

Head physician of hospital Gulnara Safiullina said that the institution, including outpatient clinics and rural health posts were repaired, the receiving-diagnostic department was opened, 8 new Primary Health Centers were built. The hospital is equipped with modern equipment for patients and medical staff.

8238 emergency calls were registered in Emergency Station of Kazan from 04.12.17 till 10.12.17.  1204 calls were registered in public places. The greatest number of calls (6549) was on various diseases, including 167 strokes and 33 heart attacks.
