February 15 is an International Childhood Cancer Day.
Today the Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Surgery organized a fantastic concert for children undergoing treatment in the CRCH.
Young patients and their parents with a great interest took part in fun contests, sang songs, danced and even played the djembe (African drum).
Festive events, positive emotions and good mood help children to distract from hospital routine and overcome illnesses. It contributes to a speedy recovery and increases the effectiveness of treatment.
