What is necessary to know about fluorography?

Fluorography is one of the most widespread methods of diagnostic used for detecting various diseases such as pulmonary tuberculosis, tumors, infectious diseases and other pathologies.

Before the fluorography procedure it is necessary to:

- take off all metal objects from the body, including jewelry;

- provide the radiologist with any information about possible contraindications or previous surgery on the lungs or chest.

It is prohibited to do fluorography for pregnant and children under fifteen.

There are six mobile X-Ray booths (mammograph & fluorograph) in the Republic of Tatarstan.
