«200 thousand visits and not a single case of death of a full-term infant»: the results of 2023 were outlined in the RCH
On February 20 the results of the work of 2023 and outlined the tasks for doctors for 2024 were summed up at the Hospital meeting in the Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan.
The main goal for the hospital was the implementing of National Projects “Healthcare” and “Demography”.
According to the Chief Physician of the RCH of Tatarstan Rafael Shavaliev, the quantity of treated patients has increased by 25% due to the improvement of the therapeutic and diagnostic process over 5 years.
By the end of 2023 the number of surgeries increased by 10%. Consequently, 17,641 surgical interventions were performed.
Furthermore, 115 renal transplantations, 72 liver transplants and 2 bone marrow autologous transplantations were performed.
In 2023, 176 fewer children were born than in 2022 in Tatastan. The number of newborns in the Perinatal Center remained at the level of 2022 (7834 babies). Hospital mortality of newborns decreased by 21%
The number of hospitalized patients in the departments of the internal medicine increased by 12%, which is 14,838 patients per year.
Flying Doctor Service performed 592 land transport departures and 271 helicopter departures to evacuate 537 patients.
Minister of Heath of Tatarstan Marcel Minnullin noted that all the tasks set for 2023 have been completed. The Minister expressed his great gratitude to the entire staff headed by Rafael Firnayalovich Shavaliev.
