President of Russia Vladimir Putin participated in the opening of new hospice for adults “Natasha” by videoconferencing.
Rais of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and State Adviser, first President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev also took part in the videoconferencing.
New hospice is located on the street of the Battalov Brothers, 16 in Kazan. It is intended for 80 hospital beds. It provides hotel rooms for relatives; the territory is equipped with walking areas for patients and their close family. There are also rooms for physical and psychological rehabilitation for participators of the special military operation. The hospice has its own mosque and church.
Vladimir Putin expressed his great appreciation to Vladimir Vavilov, the chairman of the board of the Fund named after A. Vavilova.
President of Russia addressed his gratitude to the workers of the hospice.
