Preventive medical examination and prophylactic medical examination of certain groups of the adult population at the expense of compulsory health insurance are carried out from the age of 18.

  2. reventive medical examination is carried out in order to identify conditions, diseases, identify health groups and develop individual recommendations for citizens taking it into account.
  3. What happens if the research reveals deviations?

Prophylactic medical examination is carried out in two stages. The first stage of medical examination (screening) allows citizens to identify signs of acute and chronic non-communicable diseases. A second stage of prophylactic medical examination is prescribed in case of detection of such deviations according to medical research requiring repeated examination.

Citizens undergo prophylactic medical examination or preventive medical examination at the place of attachment of the compulsory health insurance policy. At the initiative of the employer it can be organized in accordance with the established procedure for employees at their place of work.
