Leading oncologist of the Zelenodolsk CDH conducted an enhanced lecture about cancer treatment and preventive measures

The event took place within the framework of the Municipal Program “Strengthening Public Health” of the National Project “Demography” for the staff of the Executive Committee of Zelenodolsk.

Leading oncologist of the Zelenodolsk Central District Hospital Sergey Bakunin lectured about cancer precursor diseases, treatment, preventive measures, cancer types, cancer screening and importance of making an appointment timely.

Oncologist pointed that over the past 10 years in Russia, the number of people diagnosed with colorectal cancer (tumors of different parts of the colon and rectum) has increased by 20%
