Sports enthusiasm and health: students of Kazan Medical College pass the Ready for Labor and Defense standards

Students of Kazan Medical College participated in passing the standards of All-Russia Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense”. The event was arranged with the aim of distribution healthy lifestyle and physical activity among students.

Students carried out athletic tests in the following types:

• shuttle run on the distance 3х10 meters
• bending from a standing position on a bench
• flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor
• pull-up in suspension (for men)
• pull-up in suspension lying (for women)
• lifting the body from the supine position.

550 students of 22 groups participated in the competition.

This event revealed not only the high level of physical fitness of students, but also their desire for a healthy lifestyle and the achievement of sports goals.
