Health Administration of Kazan conducted summing up medical meeting
Today summing up medical meeting of the Health Administration with the participation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Minnullin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin was held in Kazan. Deputy Minister of Health – Head of the Health Administration of Kazan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Zhavoronkov performed with the report on the state of Public Health and the activities of Healthcare facilities of Kazan in 2023.
Demography:
Birthrate is 10,4 per 1,000 population (in the Republic of Tatarstan is 9,1).
The mortality rate of the population decreased from 10,5 to 9,3 per 1,000 population (in the Republic of Tatarstan is 10,7).
In-patient facilities:
4,472 beds of all-day in-patient facility and 1,251 beds of day in-patient facility are functioning
Out-patient facilities:
9,039,510 appeals and visits to the primary healthcare facilities were registered, which amounted to 50,2% of appeals in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023.
7 out-patient and in-patient facilities have been opened in Kazan since 2023.
Preventive medical examination and prophylactic medical examination:
228,030 people have underwent prophylactic medical examination in 2023 (which is 106,9% of planned).
83,383 people have underwent preventive medical examination (which is 118,6% of planned).
Provision of oncological care:
In Kazan work:
-17 primary oncological rooms on the basis of medical facilities, providing primary healthcare of the population
-2 center of out-patient oncological medical care on the basis of City Polyclinic #20 and #21.
Staff provision:
3,981 doctor и 7,252 medium-grade medical personnel work in Kazan.
Pharmacological support in medical facilities:
769 drugstores have provided Kazan residents with medicines since January 1, 2024.
Medical equipment:
Medical equipment in the amount of 4,729 units was purchased from various sources for the equipping of Kazan healthcare facilities in the amount of 1,458,132,19 thousand rubles.
