Ultrasound of the intestine with contrast was started by doctors of the RCH and KSMU under a grant from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan

This is a complex organ-preserving intervention in which the neoplasm is removed within the submucosal layer of the intestine, without resorting to abdominal surgery.
