Protecting children from drugs

From June 23 to June 29, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation announced a week for the prevention of drug use (within the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26).

In Yelabuga, at the Illusion cinema, an important lecture by Ekaterina Sergeevna Pimenova, a psychiatrist and addiction specialist at the Central District Hospital, was held for teenagers from the Gymnasium # 4.

Ekaterina Sergeevna highlighted the key aspects of drug addiction prevention: debunking myths, understanding the consequences, and refusal skills.

Information was also provided on where to seek help in case of drug-related problems.
