As noted by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, great attention is paid in the republic to the modernization of the medical care system, the development of high medical technologies, the protection of motherhood and childhood, an increase in fertility and life expectancy.

The development of rural healthcare is one of the priorities for the republic, which is being implemented under national programs, as well as under the program for the modernization of primary health care under the national project "Long and Active Life".
