Today there is a double holiday in Naberezhnye Chelny. On Republic Day, a bust and a memorial bas-relief were unveiled on the territory of the Emergency Hospital in memory of the great contribution to the creation, formation and development of cardiac surgery in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny by the forces of the world-renowned Russian cardiac surgeon Renat Suleymanovich Akchurin.
