New page in the republic's medicine: the first robotic gastric resection

The republic's first robot-assisted gastric resection was performed at the Republican Cancer Dispensary.

The operation was performed by a team of specialists: Tom Sharapov, head of the second thoracic department; Airat Timerzyanov, head of the operating department; Natalia Baisheva, an anesthesiologist and intensive care physician; Elena Khakimova, an anesthesiologist; Alsina Mukhametzyanova and Rushaniya Vagizova, operating nurses.
