Journey of the "Commuter train of Health" to Arsk: taking care of health on the move
The first trip of the "Health Train" on the route "Kazan-Arsk" and "Arsk-Kazan" took place today. This unique preventive event was organized by the Kazan Suburban Passenger Company JSC "Sodruzhestvo" together with the Republican Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The purpose of the campaign is to raise public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. During the event, passengers could get medical advice, undergo rapid blood tests for glucose and cholesterol, measure blood pressure and body mass index. Master classes on Nordic walking and first aid were also organized.
Specialists from various medical organizations, including internists, medical psychologists, and hygiene education specialists, took part in the campaign. Special attention was paid to the dissemination of preventive memos that will help passengers take care of their health in everyday life.
