A new modern perinatal center has started operating at the Almetyevsk Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital. The admission of the patients started today.
The project was implemented with the support of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The construction of an important socially significant facility for Almetyevsk and the entire south-east of the republic has been carried out by Tatneft since May 1, 2024.
Up to 3,500 births will be delivered here every year.
The design capacity is 168 women's beds and 85 children's beds.
The center has created a full cycle of providing all types of specialized medical care in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, as well as assisted reproductive technologies.
The seven-storey complex with a total area of 18,000 square meters includes a clinical and diagnostic department, an admission and diagnostic department, special Meltzer boxes for women with infectious diseases, a gynecological department, a maternity ward with an operating unit for 6 individual delivery rooms and 4 operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room, an intensive care unit for newborns and for women, the Department of neonatal pathology, the postpartum department with wards for babies, the Department of pregnancy pathology, the hall for the solemn discharge of newborns.
The neonatal intensive care unit is equipped with modern breathing equipment and incubator cuvettes for the care of newborns.
