Mabrura Nurmukhametovna was born in 1925 in the village of Gulbakcha, Almetyevsk district, into a large peasant family. Her life is an example of perseverance and dedication. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, when she was 16 years old, she was sent to construction work in the city of Berezniki, Perm Krai. Instead of studying, she spent five years with other girls digging trenches and digging ditches manually with a pickaxe in forty degrees of frost in rubber boots. She was building the foundations for evacuated factories and railroad tracks.
Since 1950, Mabrura Nurmukhametovna worked on a collective farm in the village of Novoe Kashirovo. Since 1960, she served as a nurse at the  outpatient clinic, and then became a cook. Her marriage lasted 63 years and she raised five children.: four sons and a daughter.
During her career, Mabrura Nurmukhametovna was repeatedly awarded certificates of honor and valuable prizes. She is now 101 years old, but she keeps her mind clear, reads newspapers and remains a kind and sensible grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
