The final medical meeting of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital on the results of its activities for 2025 and tasks for 2026 was held today, to which the Minister of Health, the Commissioners for Human and Child Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of various departments, medical organizations, chairmen of charitable foundations, committees, and representatives of the Veterans Council were invited.
2025 has become a time of new achievements. High-tech medical care continued to be provided to children in the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of our country, new methods of patient treatment were introduced, unique operations were performed, and key healthcare projects were carried out.
The CRCH exceeded the planned result and reached a record low infant mortality rate of 1.9 ppm. Tatarstan ranks 3rd in Russia in terms of infant mortality.
9 CRCH curators provided health monitoring for all children under 1 year of age in the Republic of Tatarstan. Through joint efforts with the primary healthcare sector, we have achieved 100% coverage of newborn care and occupational examinations for children under one year of age, which ensured timely detection of diseases and routing of children to specialized clinics.
In 2025, preventive work was strengthened aimed at reducing childhood injuries, promoting a healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren, and informing parents about the prevention of various diseases.
