Elvira Yakovlevna Kustovskaya, chief visiting specialist in nursing management at the Naberezhnye Chelny City Health Department, analyzed the results of the work of the nursing service of medical organizations in the city for 2025 and outlined tasks for the current year. Speaking about the results of the year, the chief specialist of Naberezhnye Chelny separately focused on the topic of mentoring. She explained that the Naberezhnye Chelny hospitals have created a system in which a young nurse is not left alone with hard work. There is always an older friend nearby who will prompt, support and teach. Contests and meetings with the older generation of colleagues are held in medical organizations.
Elena Vladimirovna Burkhanova, head of the Center for Professional Competencies of the Kazan Medical College, spoke about the role of the simulation center of the Kazan Medical College in the formation of professional competencies of secondary medical workers. According to her, modern medicine requires not only theoretical knowledge, but also confident practical skills. The simulation center has created an artificial environment that is as close to reality as possible. Here, future nurses learn how to administer injections, care for seriously ill patients, and work with sophisticated equipment. "A mistake on the simulator is an experience, a mistake at the bedside is a tragedy. Our task is to have ready—made specialists come to hospitals," was the message in the speech.
Special attention of the participants was paid to the issues of legal protection of medical personnel. Lyubov Nikolaevna Shaikhutdinova, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Medical Workers of the Republic of Tatarstan, addressed the audience with a message on the importance of professional insurance for nurses, emphasizing the need to ensure timely safety guarantees for both patients and specialists themselves.
