On the preservation of reproductive health

Reproductive health is a state of physical, mental, and social well—being that includes the ability to conceive and have children, safe sexual relationships, successful pregnancy and childbirth, child health, and the ability to plan for future pregnancies.

As part of the week of responsible attitude to the reproductive health and well-being of expectant mothers, paramedic Adilya Sakayeva a meeting with women of reproductive age in  Kuvady.

Some recommendations for maintaining reproductive health:

Use contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Get tested regularly for sexually transmitted diseases.

Monitor your diet and exclude foods that may harm your health, including reproductive health.

Plan pregnancy in advance: get tested, follow a healthy lifestyle about 3 months before conception.

Be physically active during pregnancy, following the doctor's recommendations, as a sedentary lifestyle and obesity can negatively affect the reproductive system.

To control the psychological state, as the emotional well-being of the expectant mother is important for the development of the child.

To monitor reproductive health, it is recommended to undergo a medical examination to assess reproductive health. This is a set of measures that complement the main medical examination program.
