The KFU Institute of Design and Spatial Arts hosted a lecture for first-year students on HIV prevention.
Ilya Rachkov, an epidemiologist at the Republican Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, told the students about what is important to know about HIV today.
During the meeting, we discussed:
• HIV transmission routes
• modern methods of prevention
• The importance of regular testing
Special attention was also paid to debunking common myths about HIV and developing a responsible attitude towards one's health.
Such meetings help to raise awareness among young people and remind them that health care begins with knowledge.
