Elena Sabirovna Shayakhmetova, whose name is well known to more than one generation of Nizhnekamsk residents, celebrated her significant birthday. For colleagues and patients of the Nizhnekamsk Children's Hospital, she is a legendary person who has worked for many years as a procedural nurse in the somatic department.
Elena Sabirovna is still remembered with warmth and gratitude. Her golden hands knew their job flawlessly: she could give an injection or put an IV into literally "any vein," while doing it so gently and skillfully that young patients were not afraid to enter her office at all. Kind, responsive and incredibly professional - colleagues and hundreds of cured children remembered her like that.
Elena Sabirovna's path to medicine began long before moving to Nizhnekamsk. She started her career in the village of Shingalchi, where she was a true universal soldier of healthcare: she replaced a surgeon, a gynecologist, a pediatrician, and a paramedic. Her frail shoulders supported the medical care of three villages at once.
