Branch of an oncological dispensary has opened in Nizhnekamsk: the first patients have already received treatment
The first 23 patients have already been treated at the new unit.
A chemotherapy department, a 25-bed day hospital and a 20-bed round-the-clock hospital have been opened here. Modern drug therapy has become available to patients: chemotherapy, as well as immuno - and targeted treatment.
Currently, 8,000 cancer patients in the Nizhnekamsk region can receive modern treatment in their city without having to travel to major centers. This not only reduces the time to start therapy, but also gives patients a sense of support and security.
The opening of the branch was made possible thanks to the support of Almir Abashev, Minister of Health of Tatarstan, who personally oversaw the project for the development of oncological care in the region.
The branch is already accepting patients, and a team of professionals is ready to provide comprehensive assistance and accompany everyone on their way to recovery.
