Main thing about pediatric palliative care: a lecture for pediatricians

There are currently 631 palliative care patients in Tatarstan. And the main goal is to maximize the quality of life of these children and support their families.

Our hospital has an on-site intensive care unit for the districts, two palliative beds (in intensive care and pediatrics), as well as pediatrician Elena Batalova, who leads such children.

An important thesis from Olga Mitina: palliative patients are not exempt from vaccinations. Vaccination is extremely important for them. The district service performs all the usual functions: vaccination calendar, medical examination, treatment of acute diseases, etc.
