Day of Pregnant Women was held in Mamadysh: health, traditions and caring for expectant mothers
A touching and important holiday for society, the Day of Pregnant Women, took place in the Youth Center of the city of Mamadysh.
Traditionally, it is celebrated twice a year — in October and April, so that every expectant mother can take part. District obstetrician-gynecologist Milyausha Valiullina spoke to expectant mothers with positive statistics on the district. To date, 105 women are registered for pregnancy in the antenatal clinic of the State Institution.
Milyausha Razinovna provided accurate data: 37 women are expecting their first child, 31 are expecting their second child, and 37 more are ready to become mothers with many children, expecting their third child. In total, there are 8,354 women of childbearing age in the Mamadyshsky district. Last year, in 2025, 214 babies were born in the district. Milyausha Razinovna also congratulated the participant, gave advice on leading a healthy lifestyle, reminded about World Health Day and wished everyone health and well-being.
