Meet the new surgeon in the team of the Nizhnekamsk Children's Hospital

We are pleased to introduce Shakhzod Khalimovich Makhkamov, who joined the ranks of surgeons at Nizhnekamsk Children's Hospital and now works in Surgical Department No. 1.

Shahzod Khalimovich is from Tajikistan. He decided to choose medicine quite early, largely thanks to his grandmother, who had been an obstetrician-gynecologist all her life. In 2016, the young man came to Russia, earned his own tuition, and in 2018 entered the Chuvash State University to become a pediatrician. At first I thought about plastic surgery, I looked at maxillofacial surgery, but in the end I chose pediatric surgery. He admits that he likes working with children much more.
