The theoretical part was as useful as possible. The staff not only listened to the briefing on the rules of conduct in case of fire, evacuation and notification procedure, but also actively asked questions, analyzing various scenarios.
However, theory without practice is ineffective. The most important part of the exercises was the training. Anyone could try their hand at using primary fire extinguishing equipment. With their own hands, the employees learned how to properly hold the fire extinguisher, tear off the seal, pull out the pin and direct the jet of extinguishing agent to the conditional source of ignition. This allowed us to experience the weight and power of the device on our own, as well as overcome the psychological barrier before using it.
