Methodical seminar for organizers of preventive work in Kazan and republican medical-preventive institutions took place in hygienic education unit of SAHI «Republican Center of Medical Prophylaxis». Participants of seminar have told about preparation for World Day of Health and have discussed the experience on the organization of mass propaganda events with population target groups.
Chief specialist of department of sanitary protection of territory of TR Rospotrebnadzor in Kazan Alyoshina А.G. has read her report. In the report she has given the characteristic to transmissible diseases (malaria, febris dengue, fever of Western Nile). All these diseases are spread in the tropical countries. Sporadic cases of diseases from India, Turkey, Sudan and Pakistan have been noted in Tatarstan Republic. 9 cases of malaria and 8 cases of fever of Western Nile have been registered in TR in2010-2013. During last seven epidemiological seasons local transfer of infections was not registered.
Methods used for preventing from diffusion of illness or for protection are destruction of mosquitoes and use of insect repellent.
Besides, in cities and Tatarstan Republic districts there is case rate of vernal encephalitis. Preventive precautionary measures need to be observed by fans to have a rest in wood and by mushroom pickers. The substituent of head physician of SAHI «CRCH» O.V.Kulikov has presented his report: «Experience of the organization and conducting of mass propaganda events with population target groups». He has stated methodology of conducting of events on the example of out-patient department №44 and municipal centre of medical preventive maintenance of St.-Petersburg.
