Early and timely diagnostic of ischemic heart disease (IHD) is the important clinical, social and economic problem. The special place among methods of IHD diagnostic belongs to perfused myocardium scintigraphy which is claimed in cardiologic units. This method takes the priority position in diagnostic of coronary ischemia of heart thanks to high indexes of sensitivity, specificity and informtiveness. Being non-invasive, the perfused scintigraphy allows to gain the unique information on myocardium blood supply at microcirculation level.
«This method is considered «gold standard» in diagnostic of transient disturbances of myocardium blood supply, caused by the different reasons», – has noted radiologist of MCDC Nailia Valiullina.
Radiologists of radioisotope diagnostic laboratory of Emergency Hospital of Naberezhnye Chelny have implemented the method of perfused myocardium scintigraphy.
During examination the patient takes the radiodrug. The myocardium scintigraphy is conducted in 2 stages: examination with load and in peace. The method possesses wide opportunities in ischemic heart disease diagnostic. Finding of transient ischemia of myocardium caused by lesion of coronary arteries by atherosclerotic plaques, including the patients without stenocardia clinic, is made. Depending on localization and abundance of transient ischemia indications to coronary angiography are determined.

The myocardium scintigraphy is the high-precision valuation method of efficiency of medicamental treatment, efficiency of endovascular interventions (coronary balloon angioplasty with stent), operations on open heart (coronary shunting), cardio-rehabilitation. The approximate examination’s time is 2—3 hours.
«This method allows identifying «live» myocardium. It also helps to cardio-surgeons to select patients on operative treatment (surgical revascularization of myocardium) for the purpose of improving of the functional status of cardiac muscle» - has commented Ramis Yakubov, managing cardiovascular surgery unit.
