Tatarstan Health Ministry suggests to сreate Russian Hospice Service for Children

The round table dedicated to development of the palliative help to children with participation of representatives of foreign countries and Russian regions has taken place within the opening of the first Children’s Hospice of Tatarstan Republic in Kazan.
Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic Adel Vafin has thanked the guests for their visit to Kazan. He has noted the importance for exchange of experts’ experience regarding development of the modern approaches to the palliative help to the children. During his speech the minister has told about the basic indexes of development of health care for children in Republic.
According to Adel Vafin, the death rate of children from congenital disorders of cardiovascular system, nervous system and digestion problems decreases annually thanks to timely diagnostic in Republic. Today our medicine is not capable to cure all serious progressing diseases and our problem is to facilitate the status of seek children. That is why it was decided to create the hospice in Kazan.
 During round table specialists have presented their experience of organization of medical aid to patients.
In the end of the meeting Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic has proposed to become initiators of Russian Hospice Service for children. Such work will allow to cooperate in this direction.
