The program «Transplantology development in Tatarstan Republic in 2015 – 2017» is working out in the republic

 VII Russian Congress of Transplant Surgeons took part in Moscow on the basis of FSBI «V.I.Shumakov Federal Research Centre of Transplantology and Bioartificial Organs » of Russian Health Ministry. More than 500 delegates, including specialists from Tatarstan Republic - the principal non-staff transplant surgeon of Health Ministry of Tatarstan – Galeev S.R., the chief of department of the organization of hi-tech medical aid of Health Ministry of Tatarstan – Frolov D.N., the principal non-staff specialist-urologist of Health Ministry of Tatarstan – Galeev R. Kh, the non-staff consultant-co-ordinator of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic concerning the transplantation of the organs – Akhundov R. N, the doctor of renal transplantation unit of SAHI «RCH of TR HM» – Khamitov D.D took part in the congress. Russian Federation health minister deputy Jakovleva T.V. and Central Committee chairman of Communist Party of Russian Federation, the floor leader of Communist Party of Russian Federation in State Duma, Zyuganov G. A. have opened the congress.
The problems of organs’ transplantation have been discussed during the congress. Now the operations are made not only in Moscow and in St.-Petersburg, but also in regions. So for example, in 2013 in Tatarstan Republic it has been made 21 operations on transplantation of gemmas, 2 operations on transplantation of heart and 1 transplantation of liver. Since 1991, more than 270 transplantations have been made on the basis of Republican Clinical Hospital.
However, waiting lists are still actual.

The important task is the extension of accessibility of hi-tech medical aid for the population in various regions of Russia. Transplantology development is tightly connected with implementation and usage of advanced achievements of biomedical science, cellular and bioengineering technologies. All these questions are included in the congress’s program.
