Сampaign « Give me life!» will take place in Tatarstan Republic

Annually, Fund of welfare initiatives under patronage of Russian Federation prime minister’s lady Svetlana Medvedeva organizes Russian campaign «Give me life!» (week’s campaign against abortions). This campaign is connected with the holiday «Day of family, love and fidelity» which is celebrated on July, 8th and the events are held during the week from July, 9 till July, 15th.
Now the official statistics in Russian Federation are alarming because there are 58,7 abortions on 100 acts of delivery. Despite positive trends, it has been produced 1 million 54 thousand 820 abortions in 2010. The present situation demands the active work on preventive maintenance and decrease of number of abortions and improving of demographic situation.
For preventing of the demographic crisis it is necessary to give qualified medical aid during pregnancy and delivery, medical examination, the modern hi-tech methods of functional recovery of reproductive system (for example, fertility treatment with EF and other methods).
Within the limits of the campaign it is planned to organize "Open days" in women’s health clinics with consultations of specialists, prophylactic interviews on questions of reproductive health, pregnancy planning, modern methods of contraception. SAHI « Republican Centre of Medical Prophylactics» together with specialists of SAHI «Municipal out-patient department №4"Student's"will organize talks concerning family planning, danger of abortion to the  students of the high schools having rest in health camps. The informational flyers and memory cards published by SAHI «Republican Centre of Medical Prophylactics» will be spread.
