Experts of Mayo Clinic have highly appreciated the work of Kazan RCH on medical aid quality management

One of the priority directions of Tatarstan is implementation of the best medical aid quality management systems in medical institutions. TR Health Minister Adel Vafin has told about it during the press conference dedicated to the opening of the international forum «Quality World Standard: from idea to implementation. Mayo Clinic’s experience» in Volga region State Academy of Physical training, Sports and Tourism of Kazan.
According to Health Minister, Tatarstan’s specialists have conducted studies on the best global practices of the European clinics. «Last week, 16 persons have visited the American Mayo Clinic which is the best example of creation of quality management system and medical service. Patient centered medical service has made this clinic well-known in the world», – the minister has told.
It is planned to audit Tatarstan Healthcare in order to specify the weak points in management system and medical aid rendering. Then the training of employees will begin.
Andrey Kurklinsky, Assistant-Professor of Medical Sciences (Mayo Clinic) has expressed gratitude to TR President and employees of Educational Centre of High Medical Technologies for the organization of conference.

Sandia Prati, Assistant-Professor of Medical Sciences (Department of family medicine, Mayo Clinic) has reported that in Republican Clinical Hospital she saw the organization of many processes which are similar to Mayo Clinic.

Timothy Davlantes, Assistant-Professor of family medicine, the principal of health quality service of Mayo Clinic has noticed that one of quality assurance’s methods is observation which shows the patients’ satisfaction.
